The new Veterinary Clinic locates in B/F to G/F of Harbour Crystal Centre with the total area of 1,200m2 approximately. The Clinic comprises of different special task rooms which required special E&M designs. For example, separate chiller system for MRI room, laminar flow and positive pressure provision for surgery rooms, etc. Talent carries out the M&E design and project administration for the project. The anticipated completion date is in the 1st quarter of 2023.
Po Leung Kuk Special Child Care Centre Cum Early Education and Training Centre at So UK Estate, Shamshuipo, H.K.
The project involves fitting-out and associated works for the Centre subvented by the SWD's Lotteries Fund. Talent carried out design and project administration with total area of approx. 500m2.
Transformation of 7/F, Block A to Day Care Ctr. For Elderly in St. Paul Hospital, Causeway Bay, H.K.
The project is to renovate 7/F of Block A to Elderly Day Care Centre. The total renovation area is about 490m2. Talent carries out the M&E design and project administration for the projects, including modification of the existing M&E systems and upgrade for part of installations with energy efficiency features. This is the first project that Talent works with the client. The centre came into operation in the early of 2021.
Fire Safety Improvement Works for Block A of Caritas House, No. 2 Caine Road, H.K.
The scope of work comprised the design and project consultancy services for Fire Safety Improvement Works to comply with FSD's Fire Safety Improvement Directions. Fire Services improvement works involved addition of automatic sprinkler system, manual fire alarm system, upgrading of existing FH/HR system, etc.
A&A Works to Block A, TWGHs Jockey Club Rehabilitation Centre, Aberdeen, H.K.
2-storey of total area 2,500m2 was added to the existing Block A. The premises are to provide training facilities for mentally disabled groups. The intended usages included health care facilities with dormitories, training rooms, multi-purpose rooms and office. The project was granted with Merit Award under the category of Renovation / Revitalization of the Green Buildings Award by HKGBC.
Redevelopment of Caritas Social Centre, Tsuen Wan, H.K.
The redevelopment is a 10-storey institutional building with social centres of variety of services, hall dormitories, sensory green garden, roof garden and a carpark. The total gross floor area is around 8,380m2. The Architect was very keen on energy conservation and sustainability. Various green features, including energy saving lighting system, renewable energy systems, food waste decomposer etc were adopted.
Extension of Works of Evangel Children’s Home at 120 Shatin Pass Road, H.K.
The new extension block comprises functional rooms, accommodation for teenager and plant rooms. Talent carried out the design of MVAC system, electrical system, lift system, fire services system, plumbing and drainage system and towngas installation together with project administration from demolition stage to construction.
A&A Work for St. Paul Convent at 33 Caroline Hill Road, H.K.
The existing convent was a 5-storey building. The A&A work includes addition of a storey for accommodation and replanning of other floors with total floor area of around 5,700m2. The facilities are mainly dormitory with chapels and meeting rooms. Talent carried out the M&E design and project administration for the project.
Whiskers Theatre Refurbishment Phase 1 in Ocean Park, H.K.
The work was for improvement of the facilities at the Whiskers Theatre at the Ocean Park Phase 1 work. Talent carried out M & E design and project administration.
Integrated Children and Youth Services Centreat Tin Heng Estate, Tin Shui Wai, H.K.
The work was for the fitting-out of the youth services centre. Talent carried out M & E design and project administration.
Addition of Air Conditioning System and Associated Power Upgrading for TWGH’s Home for the Elderly
The work was the addition of air conditioning system together with the upgrading of the power supply for 6 TWGH’s Home for the Elderly. Talent carried out M & E design and project administration.
Plant Replacement and Improvement of the A/C System in International Funeral Parlour, Hunghom, H.K.
The scope of consultancy comprised the improvement study of the whole A/C system (airside & waterside), and the replacement of the A/C plant and upgrading of the A/C system to improve the A/C and ventilation performance and energy use. Talent carried out M & E design and project administration.
International Youth Culture Centre (SGI), at TPTL 127, Tai Po, N.T., H.K.
The development comprises 4 low rise institutional buildings occupying a site area of 15,000m2. A Japanese Contractor was commissioned to carry out a design and build contract. The scope of consultancy included the design of P & D systems, fire services systems and sewage treatment etc.
Yang’s Memorial Social Service Centre, Waterloo Road, Yaumatei, H.K.
The centre suffered from frequent suspension of the air conditioning service due to the problem at the chiller plant. The scope of consultancy included the trouble shooting for the problems of the air conditioning system, designing and arranging replacement of chiller plant and project administration for the project.
